About MindParadox

Our Passion for classic cars

Anyone who has worked on an older or an uncommon car will know how quickly a project can be stopped by the smallest of parts. A broken clip, trim piece, or bracket—long discontinued and impossible to source—can leave an otherwise perfectly good vehicle stuck off the road. Solving exactly this problem is the focus of MindParadox.

MindParadox is a specialist company using modern manufacturing techniques to recreate hard-to-find replacement car parts. By combining 3D scanning, computer‑aided design (CAD), and high-quality 3D printing, the company offers enthusiasts and repairers a practical alternative when original parts are no longer available.

Creating a model

The process begins with the original component, whether cracked, worn, or incomplete. Using accurate 3D scanning, the part’s geometry is captured in detail. That data is then rebuilt in CAD software, where the design can be refined and, where appropriate, improved. Known weak points can be strengthened, fragile areas reinforced, and tolerances adjusted—while preserving the correct fit and function on the vehicle.

Once the design is finalised, production moves to additive manufacturing rather than traditional tooling. Material choice is driven by real‑world use. Flexible components are produced in TPU. Items exposed to heat or weather are printed in ASA. Stronger, load‑bearing components are made in PA (nylon) to provide strength and long‑term wear resistance.

Here to help

For enthusiasts, the appeal is clear. These are not novelty items or display pieces—they are functional parts designed to be fitted, used, and relied upon. Whether it’s a classic car that lost factory support decades ago or a modern vehicle with a model‑specific plastic part, this approach offers a realistic way to keep cars in service.

"Helping people keep the cars they love in good shape brings a smile to us here at MindParadox, especially when you hear the associated stories of their car escapades and family connections." — Owner, Justin Newnam.

By producing parts on demand, MindParadox reduces waste, avoids unnecessary stockpiling, and helps prevent serviceable vehicles being sidelined over minor, unobtainable components.
